Clandestine Meth Operation Discovered In Denver

One Suspect Was Taken Into Custody

Denver Police broke-up a clandestine methamphetamine-making operation late Saturday night that included a secret room and security cameras.

Around 10 p.m. Denver Narcotics Unit Detectives busted the meth operation that was being run out of a small home at 2559 17th Street.

According to police, suspect Michael Dallaire is being held for investigation of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing.

About 15-20 gallons of meth, solution and other chemicals to manufacture 5-7 pounds of finished product was removed from the address, according to police.

The meth lab was being produced in a secret basement room that could only be accessed by a trap door, according to police. The home also had small security cameras attached to the chimmney that were used to monitor activity outside the residence, 7News reported.

The Denver Police have busted 42 labs in 2001.
