Ted Haggard Massage Table For Sale On eBay

Mike Jones Offers Table For Charity

UPDATED: 2:01 pm MST March 9, 2007

The massage table "where it all happened" between evangelist Ted Haggard and a former gay male escort is for sale on eBay.

Mike Jones put the massage table up for bid Thursday, with proceeds going to Project Angel Heart, a nonprofit group that helps people living with HIV and other life-threatening diseases.

As of 2 p.m., five bids had been received and the top bid was $470.

The item description by Jones reads: "The Table is about 10 years old with a few tears but totally usable. Will autograph table if requested and in June an autographed book 'I Had To Say Something' by Mike Jones will be sent."

Jones was the male escort who came forward to report he was involved in a sexual relationship with Haggard -- a charge that the Colorado Springs pastor denied, but later admitted to.

Jones said the massage table is "where it all happened."

The auction will continue until March 18.
