Victim Of Alleged Hate Crime Recovering
Boulder Police Say They Are Following Several Leads

BOULDER, Colo. -- -- The woman who was allegedly attacked in Boulder because she is gay was recovering with her family Tuesday.The alleged incident happened a week ago near the Pearl Street Mall. According to police, the Naropa University student was attacked by two men between 18 and 21 years old when she identified herself as a lesbian.Tuesday, members of Boulder Pride delivered a large banner with well-wishes to the victim.
Boulder police said they are following several leads. Police believe the two alleged attackers were captured on tape by a surveillance camera as they ran from the crime scene.
