DENVER -- The parents of a 19-day-old baby found the infant dead in the same bed they were sleeping in Sunday morning.

Both parents, whose names were not released, are 25 years old and are from Westminster, the Summit County coroner said. The couple was visiting Breckenridge for a family reunion, the coroner said.

The coroner initially said it was possibly a case of co-sleeping, although an autopsy determined the cause of death was consistent with Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Co-sleeping is one of many risk factors for SIDS, according to Coroner Joanne Richardson.
