Deputies: Man Strangles Pet That Bit Him
Robert McDuff Held Under $50K Bond

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. -- An Arapahoe County man was being held under a $50,000 bond after sheriff's deputies said he admitted strangling his dog to death after it bit him.Deputies were sent to the 21200 block of East Lehigh Place at about 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday to investigate a report of animal cruelty.They talked to Robert McDuff, 41, who said his 1-year-old Boxer had bitten him on the right hand. According to deputies, McDuff admitted strangling the dog with a leash until it died.
Deputies found the dead dog in a plastic bag in the garage.McDugg was arrested for investigation of aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony, and was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Center.
