UPDATED: 1:18 pm MST January 30, 2007

An autopsy on the body of Denver Bronco cornerback Darrent Williams shows he had no drugs and little alcohol in his body at the time he died.

A copy of the autopsy report was obtained by 7News on Tuesday. It shows Williams, 23, died from a single gunshot wound to the left side of his neck. The bullet went through his neck and exited on the right side.

The autopsy also shows Williams had a blood-alcohol level of 0.051. The autopsy report was dated Jan. 29 and was signed by Denver's Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Robert E. Whitmore.

The medical examiner concluded that Williams died quickly after he was shot in the neck.

Williams was killed while riding in a stretch limousine with friends early New Year's Day after leaving a nightclub near downtown Denver.

Authorities said that someone in a nearby sport utility vehicle sprayed the limo with 14 bullets.

Two other passengers in the limousine were hurt.

Police recovered the vehicle they said was used in the attack but have made no arrests.
