DENVER -- The host of a morning show was arrested at his radio station Tuesday morning, accused of using the Internet to lure a child into a sexual relationship.Scott Eller Cortelyou, 53, is the host of the show "Business for Breakfast" on KRCN radio 1060 AM.The Conifer resident was arrested in Lakewood Tuesday morning by Fort Collins police who have been working on the investigation with the Jefferson County District Attorney's office for the past six months.
Cortelyou was transported to the Larimer County Jail where he was booked on suspicion of Internet luring of a child and Internet sexual exploitation of a child.The investigation into Cortelyou began in August 2006 and continues, said Rita Davis, a spokeswoman for Fort Collins police.Corelyou is a veteran Denver-area journalist and has been on Denver radio stations since 1978. He has been business editor at 850 AM KOA, did the business show for 760 AM KTLK The Zone, worked at 630 KHOW, KMJI, KIMN, and also did some business reports for 7NEWS in 2000.According to his online bio, he has won various news awards from the Colorado Broadcasters Association, Associated Press and the Radio/Television News Directors Association.Additional Resources:
