Sex In Jail Allegations Lead To Deputy Arrest

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- Douglas County Detention Deputy Jeffery Outlar was arrested on Christmas Eve for allegations of a sexual encounter with a female inmate.Outlar is charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor, including sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, sexual contact in a correctional facility, introduction of contraband into a correctional facility, and first degree official misconduct.Outler, 39, was hired by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in July 2006 and is now on unpaid administrative leave. His first court appearance will be December 26.
He is being held on $100,000 bond in a metro-area jail.
