So, last Thursday detectives put an ATV and trailer on a public street to see if it would be stolen.Police said just four hours later, the ATV and the trailer were taken. Detectives tracked the stolen ATV for the next 24 hours before it was eventually taken to a home in the 1700 block of South Vallejos Street in Denver.
Detectives said they watched as three other ATVs arrived at the home. They then searched the home and property with a search warrant and said two adults and one child were at the home. Police said officers arrested suspects at three additional locations.Nine people in all were arrested. Four were released and five remain jailed, police said.Police said they recovered a total of four ATVs, two trailers and five other vehicles. The five suspects remaining in jail include Raudelio Olivas-Solis, 45, Saul Olivas-Cruz, 24, Roberto Gomez-Marquez, 26, Luis Carlos Gutierrez-Gutierrez, 19, and Jose Manuel Balderama-Marquez, 44.Police said four of the five people held in jail were also being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.Police did not release mug shots or say what charges the nine suspects arrested may face.
