A single-vehicle rollover accident claimed the life of an 11-year old Boulder girl and sent three others to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Hanna was killed in the accident and Nolan was flown by air ambulance to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Neither was using a seat belt or child restraint at the time of the accident.

The driver, 38-year-old Alan Peterson, and the front seat passenger, 38-year0old Jodie Peterson, were both treated and released from a hospital.

Wyoming State Patrol said the driver of the vehicle was distracted, went off the highway, and then overcorrected, causing the 2001 GMC Yukon to roll one and a half times.

This is the first fatality reported in Wyoming during the Operation CARE Thanksgiving Holiday reporting period.
