UPDATED: 3:10 pm MST November 19, 2006

The lawyer for a 36-year-old Westminster man accused of killing three members of a Denver family may seek a change of venue.

Robert Bernhardt, lawyer for Lawrence Trujillo, said he may seek to move the trial because of the emotion surrounding it.

Trujillo is accused of running a red light in downtown Denver and hitting a family of four. Becca Bingham and her two small children, Macie and Garrison, died. Frank Bingham survived with minor injuries.

The funeral for the three victims was held last Wednesday.

Trujillo has been charged with driving under the influence, vehicular homicide, assault and leaving the scene of the accident.
