DENVER -- If you drive north on Interstate 25 from Lincoln Avenue or C-470, you've probably seen the inevitable massing of machinery at County Line Road.
Heavy work is still a month away, but the first work is just a week away.
Near County Line Road and I-25, cement barriers called k-rails are stacked, waiting to be used as T-REX begins.
Some of the land will be used for a parking lot for the County Line Station, officials said.
Some of the gear will be used around Hampden Sunday night.
"People will actually begin to see the first activity, actually on I-25," T-REX spokeswoman Karen Morales said.
"Cars will probably just notice that they'll have to drive just a little bit to the left," she said.
When they get done five years from now, T-REX is going to give away a lot of the land at County Line to developers, officials said.
