COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- A Denver-area high school was evacuated for about 90 minutes after reports of a brown cloud irritating the throats of an unknown number of students. All students from Adams City High School were evacuated to a nearby field house until fire authorities gave the all clear. It was later determined that the cloud was from pepper spray that someone had discharged in the school.
No students were released, so parents do not have to pick up their children.
