Lisa Hidalgo is a Colorado native and is thrilled to be back home. She graduated from Green Mountain High School and then the University of Colorado with a BS in Broadcast Journalism.Lisa's career has taken her all over Colorado. She started at KREX in Grand Junction and then worked at KRDO in Colorado Springs. Lisa is back in Colorado after a quick two years at KVBC in Las Vegas, NV.She is married to a former KMGH photojournalist and has two chihuahuas.
Lisa loves everything from knitting to reading to running and just finished her first marathon in Stockholm, Sweden. She is always looking for new ways to enrich her weather background and in 2007 graduate from Mississippi State University's Meteorology program. Lisa grew up watching Mike Nelson and is excited to now work with the legend!
