Police Press Search For Missing Boys

Man Sought In Case

Denver police have asked for the public's help in finding two children who have been missing since Tuesday.

According to police, Hector Gonzales, 11, left Cowell Elementary School at 4540 W. 10th Ave., with his 16-year-old cousin, Luis Cuevas. They have not been seen since.

Police said the boys may be in the company of Edson Alonso, 35. He may be driving a silver 2005 Ford Explorer with Colorado license plate 177 LYU. His connection to the boys was not released.

Police ask that anyone who may have information about the boys' whereabouts to call their Missing Persons Unit at 720-913-6911. They can also call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
