10 Marijuana Shops Near Schools Warned To Close

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado has sent letters to ten marijuana stores telling them to close.The letters tell the shops that prosecutors will take action to seize and forfeit the shop's property if they do not stop selling and/or distributing marijuana within 45 days.The shops that got the letters are in the Denver metro area and southern Colorado, officials told 7NEWS. Each shop is within 1,000 feet of a school.This is the third phase of the U.S. Attorney's office's initiative to close marijuana stores near schools.
