Investigators said all hazards have been removed from James Holmes’ apartment, as of Saturday evening. They were disposed of in a field.

The FBI Evidence Response Team is still at the apartment processing more evidence. This is expected to take several hours and will continue into Sunday.

Police said residents who live in the area can now return home, with exception to anyone who lives in that particular building on Paris Street. The building is remaining off-limits while detectives continue to search for evidence.

The only street that remains closed is the 1600 block of Paris.

The Associated Press reported that a fourth-floor apartment in a nearby building offered a view into Holmes' unit. Visible on a wall in Holmes' apartment was a poster with the words "Soldiers of Misfortune" and several figures in various shooting positions playing paintball.

Some were wearing paintball masks.
