Oakland, CA -- (Sports Network) - Golden State Warriors head coach Don Nelson has been diagnosed with pneumonia and will not travel with the team for its two-game road trip to Texas.

The Warriors play at Dallas on Tuesday and visit San Antonio the next day before returning home.

Golden State hosts the Lakers on Saturday, but it is unclear if the 69-year- old Nelson will be able enough to coach for that game.
