Sports Channels | Sacramento Kings (5-7) At Memphis Grizzlies (4-9), 8 P.M.(Sports Network) - The Sacramento Kings hope to salvage the finale of a three- game road trip Monday when they face off with the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum. The Kings fell to 0-2 on their trek Saturday in Houston when Luis Scola poured in 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, as the Rockets used a late fourth- quarter run to take down Sacramento 113-106. Spencer Hawes tied a career high with 24 points and nine boards for the Kings, who have dropped three in a row overall. Beno Udrih had 18 points and eight assists, and Omri Casspi tallied 17 points and eight rebounds off the bench in defeat. "I like the spirit and the effort on this team. Everyone should be pleased with the way we're playing. I like the way we compete every night. I'm sorry we couldn't cash in on the effort. This team has heart but we haven't learned how to win," said Kings head coach Paul Westphal. The Kings played without their two best scorers in Houston, guard Kevin Martin and rookie star Tyreke Evans. Martin fractured his left wrist earlier this month while Evans sat out after spraining a finger on his right hand diving for a ball against Dallas in the opener of the trip. Evans, who has been averaging 24.0 points per game since Martin went down, is listed as questionable for tonight's contest. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, were the latest team to suffer at the hands of sensational rookie Brandon Jennings. Jennings finished with a game- high 26 points Saturday as the Milwaukee Bucks kept rolling with a 103-98 victory over Memphis. Rudy Gay had 24 points and 10 boards to pace the Grizzlies, who had won three in a row, including a victory at Philadelphia on Friday. Marc Gasol added 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Zach Randolph totaled 18 points in the setback. "They're a good defensive team. I'm not going to take anything from them," Gay said. "They played us tough, and they made it tough for us to get a couple shots. At the end, they made shots, so it was tough for us." The Kings have won two of their past three games against the Grizz, including a 127-116 overtime win in Sacramento earlier this month. Copyright 2009 Courtesy of The Sports Network.
