(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic have signed their first- round draft pick, guard Courtney Lee, the club announced on Thursday. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The Magic drafted the 6-foot-5 Lee out of Western Kentucky with the 22nd overall pick. A four-year starter for the Hilltoppers, Lee came off a senior season where he averaged 20.8 points per game and earned Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year honors as WKU advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

The Indianapolis native started all 127 games over his four years at Western Kentucky, and finished his collegiate career tied with Jim McDaniels as the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,238 points.

Lee was named first team All-Sun Belt in each of his final three seasons and holds school records for games started, minutes played (3,957) and free throw percentage (.817).

Over his four years with the Hilltoppers, Lee averaged 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals while shooting 40.1 percent from three- point range.
