New Taxi Fares To DIA Take Effect Thursday

New Fare Will Charge $51 From Denver To Airport

New non-metered taxi fares between Denver and Denver International Airport will go into effect on Thursday.

The fares were approved by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. Under PAC rules, all taxi companies serving the metro area are required to offer a uniform fares from the airport to three zones (downtown, the tech center, and Boulder), said Karen Gerwitz of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Trips between DIA and downtown Denver will increase to $51, trips from DIA to the tech center will increase to $57; and DIA to Boulder will go up to $84.

Airport gate fees are also added to the total fare.
