DENVER - Children 18 and under get free admission to the Denver Art Museum Saturday, March 29 to Sunday, April 6. (Except Monday, March 31, when the museum is closed.)
Kids get free general admission and access to a variety of activities including opportunities to watching local artists at work, performances by the Buntport Theater and Central City Opera, hands-on artmaking with the Art Museum's family backpacks and art tubes and costumes for dressing up.
While the free admission week is called Spring Break: Marvelously Modern, children do not get free admission to the special exhibition Modern Masters: 20th Century Icons from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Youth tickets for that show are $5, children five and under are free.
