Debbie's Deals: Home & Garden Show sells its fading flowers Wednesday for $2 per pot

DENVER - Are you ready for spring? Well, you can buy a little spring for your home and your yard Wednesday at the Colorado Home & Garden Show's flower show.

The Colorado Garden and Home Show runs through Feb. 23 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Halfway through the show, crews replace the fading flowers from the gardens and sell them to the public.

The flowers are $2 per pot, cash only. The proceeds go to the Arvada Rotary.

The flowers are sold Wednesday only from noon to 8 p.m. But at $2 a pot, the pots will go quickly.

"Most of the potted flowers are perennials so they can be added to your gardens, or just be used to bring some fresh color into your home," officials said.

The flower show is at the Colorado Convention Center, just outside the entrance to the garden show, so you don't have to pay for the show to buy flowers.
