It's October and that means haunted houses, corn mazes and costume shopping.

13th Floor Haunted House & Asylum Haunted House
Scream for less at the 13th Floor Haunted House or Asylum Haunted House SUNDAY, Oct. 4 with a 4-pack special. Get 4 general admission tickets to one of the haunted houses, 4 sodas and a popcorn for $79 (plus $2 service fee). Tickets can only be purchased on this website. Normally 4 general admission tickets, with sodas and popcorn, would be more than $100. (Note, the $79 deal is for one haunted house, not both, but both are offering the special.)
The Dead Zone: Scream Park
Dead Zone: Scream Park calls itself the one and only Scream Park in Colorado. It's at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield and features a haunted corn maze, haunted ranch and ghost stories. Groupon is offering$21 VIP admission for one, $42 for VIP admission for two. General admission is $25, VIP admission is normally $35, so the Groupon deal saves you money. There's no expiration fate on the Group website, but it says "limited time remaining."
Harvest Farm
Groupon has a deal for admission for 2 for $15 to the Harvest Farm Fall Festival and corn maze. They also have admission for 4 for $29 and admission for 6 for $42. Normal admission is $15 per person. Harvest farm is in northern Colorado in Wellington.
ARC Thrift Store
ARCsells most of its items for 50 percent off on Saturdays. That's a great way to get items, at a discount, for your Halloween costume.
ARC is also offering 20% off all packaged costumes and 20% off shoes with the purchase of any package costumes on Saturdays! Thanks to Matt and Josh for this tip.
Goodwill
Goodwill Denver has three 50 percent off sales in October on Saturday, October 3, Saturday, October 10 and Saturday, October 24. It’s half-off nearly everything on these days (some exclusions apply). Thanks to Jessica for this tip.
City of the Dead Haunted House
Get a general admission ticket for $17 to three attractions -- City of the Dead Haunted House, Curse of Darkness Haunted House, and Carnival of Carnage inside the Mile High Flea Market. GTheCity of the Dead website says general admission $23 online and $25 at the door. (Deal ended Thursday night.)
Haunted House at Colorado Adventure Point
Groupon has a deal for 2 admissions for $15 and 4 admissions for $29 to the Haunted House at Colorado Adventure Point in Lakewood. The website forColorado Adventure Pointsays they're offering a haunted house, a family fun zone and a live escape room. (Deal ended Thursday night.)
Fritzler Corn Maze
Fritzler Corn Maze, near La Salle, has several family day combos and haunted house combo's on the Groupon website. The super haunted combo for 2 is $45 from Groupon. It's $35 PER TICKET, so $70 on the Fritzler Maze website. (This deal expired Thursday).
Asylum Haunted House
Groupon has an offer for a $23 Fast Pass to the Asylum Haunted House in Denver. The Asylum website shows general admission is $27.99 (plus $2 service fee) and Fast Pass (with limited wait time) is $35.99 (plus $2 fee). (This deal is sold out.)
