If you know a teenager who wants to go to prom, but can't afford the clothes, we have help.
The annual Prom Dress Exchange this year is on Saturday, March 16. And it's not just for girls. There will be clothes available for the guys, too.
"We have a range of formals from minis to ball gowns, shoes, hair accessories, jewelry, and bags for girls," said Laura Bauer, president of The Prom Dress Exchange Corporation. "Guys can choose from suits, jackets, pants, shirts, belts, ties, and shoes."
Bauer said all students are welcome, but they need to bring a school ID card. There is also a charge of $10 (or an outfit to exchange).
The event is at Dick's Sports Goods Park in Commerce City from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
