DENVER - Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A is Friday (July 12). That means if you dress like a cow, you get free food.
Here's how it works.
Come "fully dressed" as a cow and you'll get a free combo meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner). "Fully dressed as a cow" means an effort to be dressed like a cow from head to toe.
Come in "partial" cow attire (such as the cow headband, a cow-printed hat, vest or purse) and you'll get a free entrée.
The Chick-fil-A website explains all this and more: http://www.chick-fil-a.com/cows/appreciation-day
The website even includes advice on how to build a costume. Such as, start with cow printed items that you already have at home like hats, vests, scarves, neckties, pants, shoes, pajamas. Or wear white and add black cow spots made of construction paper.
AND the website has a costume starter kit where you cut out the pieces and tape them on. Full disclosure, I have used the costume starter kit to get free breakfast meal in the past.
