Debbie's Deals: Cheap summer movies for families at UA, Regal Cinemas, MetroLux, Harkins

DENVER - Want to see a movie with the kids, but hate the high price of tickets? Several local movie theaters are offering discounted movies for families during the summer.

Regal Cinemas is offering the Summer Movie Express. Family friendly movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. are just $1. The movies are not new, but that's a great price if you want to take the kids, or just yourself, to a movie. Regal has several participating theaters in the Denver Metro area: UA Greenwood Plaza Stadium 12, UA Meadows Stadium 12, Twin Peaks 10, Regal River Point Stadium 14 and UA Denver West Village Stadium 12. The movies end July 30. See the schedule. Thanks to Amanda for this tip.

The MetroLux 14 Theatre at the Promenade Shops in Loveland is offering $2 kids movies on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10 a.m. through August 20. See the schedule. Thanks to Tiffany for this tip.

The Harkins Theater at Northfield Stapleton is offering a Summer Movie Fun deal with a different movie each week at 9:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. Individual movies are $2 or get the whole series for $5. There are four weeks of movies left. The series ends August 15. See the schedule.

Cinemark has a family deal called the Summer Movie Clubhouse at several theaters in Colorado -- Century Aurora & XD, Cinemark Fort Collins, Cinemark Greeley Mall and Century 16 Bel Mar & XD. It's $1 for one movie or $5 for all the movies. The movies run through August 6. Visit Cinemark's website for details on your local theaters schedule. Thanks to Donia for this tip!

AMC is not offering a summer movie deal, at least I didn't find anything on the company's website.

And don't forget movies are always $2.50 before 6 p.m. at the Elvis Cinemas.
