LITTLETON, Colo. - A new theater is about to open in Littleton. If you're willing to go to the movies during staff training days, you'll get a deal -- $2 tickets and a 1/2 price menu (excluding alcohol drinks).
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema currently has locations in Texas, Kansas and Virginia.
It features local beers, an extensive menu and of course, movies. The Alamo also has strict rules about kids, talking and texting. No unaccompanied children are allowed and babies are only allowed at select "baby day" screenings. If you get caught talking or texting, you'll get one warning. The next time you're caught, you'll be kicked out without a refund.
The Littleton location opens March 25. Staff training days are March 22, 23 and 24.
"By joining us during Staff Training Days, you will not only enjoy great movies and our menu for a deep discount, you will also be the first to walk into our theater, sit in our brand news seats and enjoy the Alamo cinematic experience before we open to the public," theater owners said on their blog. "Bring some friends and help us get off to a great start."
Movie choices include newer movies like "Skyfall" and "Lincoln" and classics like "Ghostbusters" and "Animal House."
Tickets for the training days are being sold on the Alamo's website: http://drafthouse.com/denver/littleton
There's a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.
