Fourth graders are once again being offered a free pass for our National parks.

The Every Kid in a Park program started in 2015.

Fourth graders go online, print out a paper pass and when they visit a national park, they get a pass valid until August.

Each online pass has a unique code, so you can't copy it and give it to friends, but any fourth grader can go online and get their own pass.

The pass covers entry fees, but not parking fees, camping, boat trips or special tours.

Colorado is home to four National parks -- Rocky Mountain National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve and Mesa Verde National Park.
