Debbie's Deals: Free 2014 summer concerts in Denver, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Thornton, Erie, etc

DENVER - Several cities around the metro area are hosting free concerts this summer.

Aurora/Southlands: Southlands is hosting free concerts every Thursday through August 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Town Square. Schedule. Thanks to Merri for this tip.

Broomfield/Flatiron Crossing: Flatiron Crossing is hosting concerts on Thursday nights through August. The concerts are in the AMC Theatres Court, presented by Gordon Biersch Brewery and Restaurant from 6-9 p.m. See the schedule.

Boulder: Downtown Boulder is showcasing 10 weeks of concerts on Wednesday nights in the 1300 block of Pearl Street. The shows start at 7 p.m. Schedule.

Boulder: 29th Street is also hosting concerts on Saturday nights through August. See the schedule.

Denver: Denver has been hosting free jazz concerts on Sundays in the summer for 27 years. The shows run through August 3rd at City Park. Learn more here.

Denver Tech Center: Free concerts are being held on Tuesdays at the Crescent Amphitheater on DTC Blvd and Belleview Ave. The shows are 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in June and July. See the Concerts at the Crescent schedule.

Erie: The Town of Erie is hosting concerts at Coal Creek Park in Historic Downtown Erie. The events will start at 5 p.m. with a DJ and the main acts starting around 7 p.m. The concerts are free, with food and beverages for sale. On July 19 see The Samples. Learn more here.

Evergreen: Enjoy music at the Evergreen Lake House every other Wednesday this summer. The concerts are free and you're invited to bring a picnic. See the concert schedule.

Littleton: The Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum are hosting free concerts on the front lawn of Littleton Museum in June and July. The 7 p.m. concerts are free and will last approximately one hour. See the concert schedule.

Niwot: Niwot is hosting concerts on Thursday nights at Whistlestop Park. Music starts at 5:30 p.m. with the headliner at 6:30 p.m. Get the schedule here.

Thornton: The Anythink Foundation’s Backyard Concert Series will be held at the one-acre park adjacent to Anythink Wright Farms in Thornton. See Dan Treanor’s Afrosippi Band on Friday, July 11, 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Jonny Barber & The Rhythm Razors on Friday, Aug. 8, 6:30-8:30 pm. Details here.

Westminster: The Orchard at Town Center is hosting 34 concerts at the St. Anthony North Health Campus on Fridays and Saturdays from June through September.
