It's summer and lots of cities are offering free movies in the park.In Denver, check out the Bike-In Movies at Civic Center Park. Ride your bike to the park to see Field of Dreams on June 26, E.T. on July 10, Social Network on July 24 and Ferris Bueller's Day Off on August 7. At the bike-in movies, groumet food trucks will be selling items before each show.
Mile High Movies is offering eight free movies this summer at Skyline Park on the 16th Street Mall at Arapahoe. Among the movies being shown this summer: How to Train your Dragon on July 2, Shrek Forever After on July 16, The Wizard of Oz on July 23 and the original Toy Story on August 20. Movies goers at Skyline Park get an extra treat: free popcorn and cotton candy.Denver Parks and Recreation is holding its annual Movies in the Parks series at Governors Park and Lincoln Park. The movies start with Beetle Juice at Governors Park on June 25 and run though August 20. Broomfield is hosting free movies in the park on Saturdays in July. See Grease on July 9, Despicable Me on July 16, How to Train your Dragon on July 23 and Jaws on July 30. The movies are sponsored by Community Financial Credit Union.
