DENVER -- A number of America's largest retailers say they plan on filling thousands of positions heading into the holiday season.
The latest retailer to announce a seasonal hiring frenzy in Colorado is JCPenney. The Company plans to hire 750 seasonal associates throughout Colorado for a variety of store positions.
Available customer service and support positions include cashier, replenishment specialist, SEPHORA inside JCPenney beauty consultant and more. JCPenney offers seasonal associates a full associate discount up to 25 percent, as well as flexible holiday scheduling, the company said in a news release.
The retailer is hosting a hiring event Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Applicants are welcome to come to any JCPenney location in the state and get an in-person interview that day.
Individuals are encouraged to apply online at jcpcareers.com or in-store at an applicant kiosk before attending the event.
JCPenney is not the only retailer looking to fill hundreds of seasonal positions. Target will hold recruiting events at each of its 1,800 stores from October 13 through 15. The company says applicants can interview and even be offered jobs on the spot.
