How many loaded potato skins can you eat? What about mozzarella sticks? Or boneless chicken wings? If you ever really wanted to know the answer to those questions, TGI Friday's can help you figure it out.
The casual restaurant chain has launched a summer promotion that allows you to order all-you-can-eat appetizers for $10 each.
Small print on the chain's website says, "Buy one appetizer at $10 each (per person) and get free refills on same appetizer." That means if you want those mozzarella sticks, you have to really want those mozzarella sticks. And it pays to want a lot of them.
Are appetizers really a meal? That may be in the eye of the eater.
The $10 "Endless Apps" all-you-can-eat promotion began Monday at TGI Friday's locations throughout the country.
In addition to the ones already mentioned, several other appetizers are available as part of the endless deal. They include pan-seared pot stickers, garlic and basil bruschetta, Tuscan spinach dip and crispy green bean fries.
According to nutritional information on the Friday's website, a normal single appetizer order of their Loaded Potato Skins packs 1,430 calories and 78 grams of fat. The mozzarella sticks are slightly better for you.
In a Facebook post last week, Friday's boasted, "The party will keep going as long as you do."
