On Saturday, you can visit some of the Denver areas best museums for free.
Saturday, Nov. 3rd is the 6th annual Night at the Museums in Denver. A night when 22 local museusm stay open late and open their doors for free from 5 to 10 p.m.
"So many families want to visit a museum together, but between work and school, it’s often hard to find the time," said Richard Scharf, president & CEO of VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau. "By staying open all evening on a Saturday night and offering all our museums for free, we create a special event that’s great for families, or a unique date night, or just a time to get out and see a new museum you have never experienced before."
Visitors in downtown Denver can museum hop -- visiting the Denver Art Museum, the new Clyfford Still Museum, the new History Colorado Center and the historic Byers-Evans House Museum and Molly Brown House.
Visitors can also take free shuttles to visit museums in the outlying areas including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the Black American West Museum, the Denver Botanic Gardens and the Forney Museum of Transportation.
