PUEBLO, Colo. - Colorado's State Fair opens Friday with a new emphasis on locally grown and produced products.
The Fair in Pueblo has a new "Colorado Proud" store, where visitors can shop for celebrate food and agricultural products that are grown, raised or processed in Colorado.
This year's concert lineup includes Dwight Yoakam, the Oak Ridge Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Creedence Clearwater Revisted.
Not everything at the fair is new. Friday night marks the return of an annual political tradition, the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce barbecue. Gov. John Hickenlooper will be there, along with many members of Congress and aspiring officeholders.
The fair runs through Sept. 2.
