AURORA, Colo. - Wendy's is hoping to refresh their brand and boost sales with a new "urban" look to their restaurants.
The fast-food giant opened one of their remodeled stores in Aurora on October 1.
According to a spokesman, the restaurant at 18700 E. Hampton Avenue features more comfortable lounge seating, a fireplace, WiFi bar and revamped breakfast menu.
The new design is part of a nation-wide marketing strategy to offer a new dining experience for customers.
"We were excited to see such unified support from members of the Aurora community," said Jim Bistany, director of area operations at Wendy’s. "Thanks to support from local businesses and residents, we witnessed a significant increase in sales in the week following the grand re-opening. We hope to give back to the local community in return for the warm welcome which we received at the grand re-opening."
Wendy's is the world's third-largest fast-food hamburger restaurant. It has more than 6,500 franchise and company restaurants in the U.S. and 27 countries.
