Two-thirds of employers monitor texts and emails sent through work phones

New research shows that two-thirds of employers are using some type of electronic monitoring.
As smartphones are increasingly being used in business, that number is expected to rise.
Experts say there is a rush for developers to create apps for corporate use and to make business dealings more efficient through the phone.
But this means increased scrutiny over messages. Experts say it is perfectly legal for employers to monitor messages though companies have to obtain consent from workers.
Experts advise employees to use a personal phone if they want to send something they don't want their bosses to see.
