DENVER - Dunkin' Donuts is another step closer to reopening in the Denver metro area.
Bradley Donuts, a Dunkin' Donuts franchisee, is holding a job fair Thursday afternoon to hire employees for its first store on Broadway and East 4th Avenue in Denver.
Bradley Donuts is looking for 50 crew team members and 10 bakers.
"We are hiring 10 shift leaders to join our management team. It is our hope, as we grow and open more locations, you will become our managers of the future," a news release from Bradley Donuts said.
The job fair is Thursday, July 18, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Denver Tech Center at 9009 East Arapahoe Road in Greenwood Village. When you arrive, ask for the Dunkin' Donuts job fair. (Note, there is also a La Quinta on Clinton Street, it is not that location.)
Currently, there are three Dunkin' Donuts locations in Colorado, but they're all in Colorado Springs. There were locations in Denver, but they closed years ago.
Earlier this year, Dunkin' Donuts announced it is partnering with three franchisees to open 30 locations across the metro area between 2013 and 2018.
Two locations at DIA will open in the next few months. A shop at the 45-minute waiting area just outside the airport will open in September. A location on Concourse A is scheduled to open in the fall.
"There can never be too many locations," said a Dunkin' Donuts spokeswoman.
Dunkin' Donuts started in 1950 as a place for coffee and donuts. Now it's expanded its menu to offer bagels, muffins, sandwiches, hash browns and more.
