Maybe you're familiar with the old expression that there's no such thing as a free lunch. It may be true but Consumer Champ Bill Clarke has the next best thing.

He said there are some good restaurant deals to be had on the Internet and for restaurants of all sorts.

On the Boston Market Web site, there's a great deal on dinner for two. Normally, two half-chicken dinners would cost $13. With the coupon, they're $10. If you want a side, you can get a tossed Caesar's salad for just $4.99 with the coupon.

Navigating the Quizno's Web site is just a bit more complicated, but right now the coupons cover everything from sandwiches to soups and salads. Even $1 off on a regular sandwich is a deal with the coupon. Another deal is the free kids meal with a combination dinner for mom or dad.

But printing out coupons from the Internet isn't the only way to find the good deals at a restaurant. Sometimes the restaurant will tell you the deals in advance, said Consumer Champ Bill Clarke.

Rock Bottom Brewery's "R Club" is a way the brew pub builds customer loyalty. Every month, there are discounts and deals.

Champps also has a Web site for its VIP Club, and when you sign up, you get a coupon good for one of their $9 appetizers. And on Tuesday nights, kids under 12 eat for free.

And remember, all this week Denver area restaurants have some great deals to celebrate National Restaurant Week. Dinner for two for $52.80 and some include a glass or even a bottle of wine at that price. This deal ends this Friday.
