DENVER -- How are you doing on that lose weight/exercise more New Year's resolutions? Have you been tempted to buy a new workout DVD to help you stay motivated?

It turns out many cable companies are offering some of those same workouts for free on demand. Yes, free.

On Comcast cable, hit the "on demand" button, then Sports & Fitness, then Exercise TV. The exercise TV website says the workouts are also available on Time Warner Cable, AT&T, Cox, Verizon, Blue Ridge Communications, Insight and TiVo.

Once you find the exercise TV section, you'll find dozens of options including a whole section of Billy Blanks workouts (nine of them), Jillian Michaels (5 workouts), Kendra Wilkerson and more personalities. There are also workouts from the Crunch gym and Biggest Loser.

You can also pick your workouts by topics like cardio, pilates and yoga, dance, abs, etc. But I should warm you that the workouts in the 10 min. workout section actually range from 10-14 minutes.

And you shouldn't get bored; it appears some of the workouts change each week. There's even a schedule on the Exercise TV website.
