Want to take the family to the King Tut exhibit at the Denver Art Museum?In September, you can get a free child's ticket for each adult ticket purchased to Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs.The only catch? You have to live in the seven county metro area that is part of the SCFD, the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District. The counties are Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Douglas, Denver and Jefferson.

Ticketmaster does add several fees to your purchase.The King Tut exhibit features more than 100 objects spanning 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history.The Denver Art Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday at 10 a.m. The museum closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. It is open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.Tickets are $25 for adults on weekdays, $30 on weekends. Seniors and college students are $23 on weekdays, $30 weekends. Youth 6-17 years old are normally $16.50 for the exhibit and children 5 and under are free.The Denver Art Museum is located on 13th Avenue between Broadway and Bannock Street address: 100 W 14th Ave. Parkway, Denver, CO 80204.There is paid parking at the cultural complex garage at 12th Avenue and Broadway.The exhibit also has a movie, "Egypt 3D: Secrets of the Mummies" and an audio tour narrated by Harrison Ford.
