DENVER -- Here's a great way to save money this summer: free and cheap family movies at Regal Entertainment Group and Cinemark Theaters have already started.

Regal Entertainment Group is offering selected G or PG movies starting at 10:00 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday during its Family Film Festival. Tickets are free and seating are first-come, first-served and are limited to theatre capacity. Regal has been doing since 1991.

Regal Theaters offering this deal locally are Greenwood Plaza Stadium 12, West Village Stadium 12 in Lakewood, Meadows 12 in Littleton, Twin Peaks 10 in Longmont and River Point Stadium 14 in Sheridan. The movie listings for this summer are already posted. Check it out here.

Cinemark Theaters are offering $1 family-friendly movies on select weekday mornings throughout the summer. You can even buy an advance pass for all ten movies for just $5 making them only $0.50 each.

In Colorado, there are five theaters participating: Cinemark Fort Collins, Cinemark Greeley Mall, Century 15 Bel Mar and the Cinemark Tinseltowns in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.

AMC Theaters summer movie camp starts June 15. They offer $1 movies at 10 a.m. each Tuesday durng the summer. The list of movies at AMC include Shrek the Third, Kung Fu Parade and Hotel for Dogs.
