DENVER -- Barnes & Noble has an interesting way to get you into its store, they're giving away a free book. However, it's an ebook and you'll need a Nook or a mobile device you can download the eReader program to.

Here's how it works. If you have a Nook already, you don't have to do anything.

If you have an iPhone, iPod or BlackBerry, download the Barnes & Noble eReader to your device. The B&N eReader comes with two free classics: The Last of the Mohicans and Sense and Sensibility. Sign in or create a B&N.com account and you'll also get four more titles for free: Dracula, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women and Merriam-Webster's Pocket Dictionary.

Then visit a Barnes & Noble store, show them your mobile device or Nook and you'll get a voucher for a free eBook. Enter the voucher number on the B&N website.

From now until May 23, 2010, the free book is The No. 1 Ladies' Dectective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. There will be one book available each week for 5 weeks. Next week's book is Jim Butcher's Storm Front.
