DENVER -- KFC has cooked up another free offer to promote its grilled chicken.You may remember in May, KFC offered a free meal on Oprah's show. Thousands mobbed KFC locations. So many people wanted free chicken, that KFC locations ran out of and stopped the promotion, offering rain checks instead. (While the rain checks were a pain, I know people who got the rain checks and used them for free meals.)This time, KFC is giving away a single piece of grilled chicken to anyone who wants a piece on Monday, Oct 26. Enjoy it as a snack, or buy a meal and have the grilled chicken as a sample. KFC has a similar promotion a few months ago when it gave out a single piece of grilled chicken for one day only.
