Xcel Energy Offering Customers Deal

DENVER -- Here's a freebie that's hard to say no to.

Xcel Energy is offering massage showerheads for free to Xcel natural gas customers.

The brochure from the company said it takes about 10 minutes to install the showerheads and they'll send directions on how to do it. The brochure said not only is the showerhead free, so is postage and shipping.

How do you get a showerhead? Call Xcel customer service at 1-866-397-3354. If that number doesn't work, try 1-866-264-7624. The offer ends Oct. 9, 2009 or when supplies run out.

Why give away showerheads for free? Xcel Energy said it wants to help you save water, energy, money, and the environment.
