DENVER -- It's time for a third report on restaurants that will you give you free food or dessert for signing-up for their e-mail club.

In May, I wrote about freebies from Benihana's, Noodles, Qdoba, Champps Americana, Tokyo Joe's, Macaroni Grill, Spicy Pickle, County Buffet, Happy Sumo, On the Border, Wendy's, Maggiano's and Hacienda Colorado. Check out those freebies.

Now on to the latest list of restaurants with freebies. One important note, never give out your real birthday. Always pick a date that is at least 1 day and 1 year off for security reasons.

C.B. & Potts has an MVP Club. New members get a certificate for a buy-one-get-one-free famous Potts burger. Expect a coupon for a free mile high mud pie on your birthday.

Village Inn has an e-mail club that offers to send you deals, coupons and info about new entrees and events. When I signed up, I got a coupon for a free entree when you buy an entree and 2 drinks.

Chick-fil-A's e-mail insider club offers to send e-mails with news, events, special offers and exclusive promotions.

Even one of Colorado's newest burger restaurants, Smashburger has a smashburger smash club. It sounds like they send a freebie on your birthday.

Steak Escape offers an e-mail newsletter once a month with great deals, news and information.

Join the Jimmy John's subculture and they promise specials, events, news and JJ schwag.

Taco John's is offering a free order of its potato oles when you sign up for their Potato Oles Maniacs. Also expect a coupon for free cini-sopapilla bites on your birthday.

Sonic's cruisers club offers promotions, sweepstakes and news.

Join Boston Market's VIP club and get a coupon for $3 off your next purchase, plus other deals and information on events.

Del Taco's raving fan club gives you a coupon for 2 free chicken soft taco's when you sign up and a free shake on your birthday.

Join Arby's extra club for a special offer when you sign up.

Sign up for Ted's Montana Grill's mailing list for news, promotions, special offers and a free dessert on your birthday.

Einstein Bros has an e-club for news and exclusive offers.

If your favorite restaurant is missing, just google them. Check out their Web site and see if they have some kind of e-mail club you can join.
