The free Web site BillShrink.com can help make sure you do. When you log on you can choose to look at cell phone plans, credit card rates or gas prices.

When you click on cell phone plans the site will ask you how many minutes you use a month, how many phone lines you have, if you text or use data plans, and other simple questions. The site will then analyze that information and give you a list of plans for you to compare.

I found a plan that could save me $10 a month. Not a huge savings but $120 a year savings nonetheless.

You can also use the site to find the lowest priced gasoline on your trip to work. The site asks you the address where you start and finish your commute, what type of car you drive and how much gas you get when you fill your tank. It will then show, on a moveable map, all the gas stations on your route and what the prices are at those stations.
