Sunday Is National Pretzel Day
Sunday is National Pretzel Day and that means free pretzels for everyone.Pretzelmaker is giving away one free soft pretzel to every customer this Sunday.According to the company's Web site, pretzels are the world's oldest snack.
According to an article by the New York Times, the pretzel is credited to a 6th century monk in southern France who twisted leftover bread dough into crossed praying arms to be given as a reward to children learning prayers.Here is a list of locations in the metro area:Twin Peaks Mall; 1250 S.
