Debbie's Deals: Rockies Ticket Deals 2011
Colorado Rockies Offer Several Discount Ticket Deals
UPDATED: 6:12 am MDT April 2, 2011
DENVER -- Want to go to a Rockies game without breaking the bank? There are some options.Of course, the cheapest tickets in the ballpark are in the
Rockpile
. Adult Rockpile tickets are $4; kids 12 and under and seniors 55 and older are $1. There is a four-ticket limit per person per game for the $4 tickets and a two-ticket limit per person per game for the $1 tickets. The $1 tickets are only available for purchase at Coors Field and the child and/or senior must be present when you buy the tickets.A limited number of Rockpile tickets are available for advance purchase for all home games at the Coors Field Ticket Office, all King Soopers, select City Markets and Colorado Rockies Dugout stores or by calling 1-800-388-ROCK or online. Again, the $1 Rockpile tickets may only be purchased at the Coors Field Ticket Office.
On the day of the game, Rockpile tickets are sold beginning 2 1/2 hours prior to game time at the Rockpile Ticket Office located near Gate A.The next cheap option for families is
Coca-Cola Value Pack Games
. For $59, you receive 4 tickets, 4 vouchers for food and beverage, one parking ticket and a Rockies magazine. Taking $5 off for the parking pass, that comes out to $13.50 per person for a game ticket, hot dog and a drink. There are 10 value-pack games during the 2011 season. A lot of the value pack games are on Monday nights, but there are two Sunday games including Father's Day.The Rockies also have a ticket special called the
PowerTicket
. This is only a deal if you're willing to buy a $54 outfield club ticket or a $42 midfield ticket. When you buy a powerticket, you get your regular ticket, plus a $10-$15 concession credit. The offer is only available online and for certain games. It's a good deal if you're willing to spend $42 or $54 a ticket. I'm not.The Rockies also offer what's called
"mini-plans"
of season tickets. You pick the games you want and get the same seat for each game. The website says the mini-plans will save you up to 40 percent off the regular ticket prices. Prices start at $9 per ticket ($135 for a 15 game package). If you see a deal, e-mail me Debbie (Debbie@thedenverchannel.com).Get the latest deals by following me on Twitter @DebbiesDeals.
