Kacey Fine Furniture To Close Lakewood Store
FasTracks Construction Forcing Store To Close Owners Say

DENVER -- Kacey Fine Furniture will close its Lakewood store because of construction of RTD's FasTracks light rail system, a spokesperson for the company said Wednesday.The store at 11305 West 6th Avenue will begin selling off items on April 17 and then consolidate all their business and services into four other stores."We have enjoyed a tremendous relationship with the people of Lakewood, Denver, Parker, Littleton, Frisco and surrounding communities for many years," said Sam Fishbein, store owner. "In order to continue this tradition and insure out longevity, we will be consolidating our entire operation, after we close our Lakewood store, into our four other stores, where we will be operating our business for many years to come."
FasTracks would expand light rail throughout Denver to the metro area cities of Aurora, Lakewood, Golden, Arvada, Wheatridge, Bow Mar, Westminster, Superior, Broomfield, Boulder, Longmont, Thornton, Northglenn, Highlands Ranch, and Littleton.
